Personik ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered influencer and content generation platform. We allow users to create photorealistic AI influencers, generate video reels, produce product showcase videos, and manage their AI content library. Our platform is accessible at personik.io. We collect the following categories of information: • Account data: name, email address, and password when you register. • Billing data: payment method details processed securely and exclusively by Stripe. We never store raw card numbers. • Profile data: avatar, plan details, credit balance, and usage statistics. • Generated content: AI influencer images and videos you create using our platform, along with the prompts used to generate them. • Usage data: pages visited, features used, generation history, and credit consumption, collected to improve our service. • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and access logs for security and fraud prevention.
We use your information to: • Provide, operate, and maintain the Personik platform. • Process payments and manage your subscription and credit balance. • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, subscription receipts, support replies) via Resend. • Display your generation history and usage statistics in your dashboard. • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents. • Analyse aggregated usage patterns to improve features and performance. • Communicate important updates about your account or our service.
Content you generate on Personik is processed through third-party AI APIs. Prompts and resulting images or videos are transmitted to these providers solely to fulfil your generation request. Generated content is stored securely in Supabase storage and is accessible only to your account. We do not use your prompts or generated content to train AI models, and we do not share your generated content with other users or third parties.
Personik operates on a credit-based system. Credits are granted upon subscription or top-up purchase and are deducted as you generate content. All payments — including subscription plans and one-time credit top-ups — are processed by Stripe. Stripe operates as an independent data controller for payment data and has its own privacy policy. We record credit transactions (purchases, deductions, refunds) in your account ledger for your own reference and for dispute resolution purposes.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We share data only with the following trusted service providers, strictly to operate our platform: • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management. • Supabase — database storage and user authentication. • Third-party AI API — AI image and video generation. • Resend — transactional email delivery. • Vercel — platform hosting and edge infrastructure. Each provider is contractually bound to process your data only for the purposes we specify and in compliance with applicable data protection law.
We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. Generated images and videos are retained for 12 months from the date of creation, after which they may be automatically deleted. Credit ledger records and billing history are retained for 7 years to comply with financial record-keeping requirements. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
We implement industry-standard security measures including: • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) for all data exchanged between your browser and our servers. • Encryption at rest for all stored data via Supabase. • Row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data. • Regular dependency audits and security patch management. No system is perfectly secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately at info@personik.io if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These are strictly necessary to provide the service and cannot be disabled. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or sell data to ad networks. We do not use Google Analytics or similar behavioural tracking tools.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data: • Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you. • Correction: request that inaccurate data be corrected. • Deletion: request that your data be deleted ("right to be forgotten"). • Portability: request your data in a structured, machine-readable format. • Objection: object to certain processing activities. • Restriction: request that we restrict processing of your data. Personik is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at info@personik.io and we will delete the account promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or via an in-app notice. Your continued use of Personik after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
